Since 2021, Mr. Winter has been the chief executive officer of the Saieh Group. Before that, since 2016 he acted as general counsel of the group. The Saieh group is a Chilean group with controlling investments in the banking, retail, media, real estate and hotel businesses in Chile and Colombia. He oversees all relevant M&A and financing transactions of the group and the general legal affairs of the operating companies within the different industries. He currently holds positions as a member of the board of directors of the hotel companies and the retail banking and insurance businesses within the supermarket line of business (Unicard). In the past, he has acted as chief legal officer for the Saieh group and as general counsel for the retail and real estate businesses of the group. Prior to joining the Saieh group, Mr. Winter worked at BTG Pactual, where he acted as senior counsel and manager of the Bank Project, which goal was to organize and obtain the legal license to operate a commercial bank for the BTG group in Chile, which was granted in 2013. During that time, he also acted as member of the board of the fund manager entity for the group in Chile. Before that, he worked at the firms Proskauer Rose LLP in New York (2011-2012) and in Prieto & Cia. in Santiago (2008-2010) within the corporate department of both firms and as in-house counsel of Banco de Chile, Citbank´s branch in Chile (2004-2008). He was admitted to the Chilean Bar Association in December 2004.
