Slovenian international generic pharmaceuticals company Krka was first established in 1954, and has business concerns mainly in both pharmaceutical and chemical activities. Prescription pharmaceuticals remain its main product group, which represent an 83.4% share of Krka Group’s total sales. They are followed in sales volume by non-prescription products (9.2%) and animal health products (4.5%). Its Terme Krka spas, hotels and tourism subsidiary contributed 2.7% of the parent group’s sales volume. Currently employing over 10,500 professionals in total, the Krka group has been recognised for a strong internal legal team, one of the most notable and outstanding in the country of Slovenia.
