About

The four-person team that provides legal assistance to the business of banking giant BNP Paribas in the Czech Republic has been praised for its strong collaboration with other departments and peers based in other countries. Such collaboration has been greatly appreciated by employees throughout the bank’s relatively small branch, as it streamlines work and ensures the smooth running of corporate operations and all relevant transactions. Besides supporting a plethora of high value financing deals, the team has recently received praise for its work on the bank’s corporate restructuring and transfer of the Czech branch from the BNP Paribas Fortis entity in Belgium directly to the BNP Paribas company in France. Other professional victories for the team include supporting BNP Paribas’ “Digital Bank” project, as well as preparing the bank to deal with GDPR, MIFID II and PSD2 regulations. The team is led by Marketa Linhartova, who has worked at the bank since 2015, and previously served as a private practice lawyer at PRK Partners.
