Stanisław Sopel has been at G2A for nearly three years, and as head of legal is a member of G2A’s board responsible for the company’s growth. He also sits on the supervisory board of Monad Rock, a subsidiary of G2A and responsible for the creation of virtual reality games. In the last year Sopel has brought a greater amount of efficiency to the in-house legal team to G2A by having a strong focus on education and training which has enhanced expertise. Also, in the past year he has led on some key projects for G2A including in respect to obtaining a revolving credit facility with ING Bank to allow the company’s continued growth, as well as obtaining an e-money license in Lithuania. He has an insightful mind, [is a] great lawyer, open and very friendly. Sopel takes care of big and innovative business. In his work he is helping the online business stay on track, which acts in many jurisdictions. His role is not just being a typical lawyer but handling hard cases within the company, and he has outstanding capabilities in managing complex innovative legal matters in one of the most fastest-growing and successful (also internationally) high-tech Polish companies.
