Magdalena Cholewa-Klimek is a business oriented legal professional with more than 15 years of experience, working for companies in the construction and real estate sectors of the Central and Eastern Europe region, providing strategic advisory to business leaders and shareholders. She is an active participant of branch organisations, including the Polish Association of Contraction Employers and Employers RP; she also has a strong academic record, holding a PhD degree. She is also an author and co-author of numerous publications in branch magazines.

Cholewa-Klimek shows core market expertise in the CEE region and a proven track record in both operational and global roles, including management of a team located across Europe and cooperation with international law offices. She advises on the most difficult projects in the Polish construction market, showing an innovative approach and thought leadership. She is experienced in drafting and negotiating significant and strategic contracts in infrastructure, civil construction and electromechanical sectors. She conducted M&A projects and provided legal support of employment matters, including mass redundancies. She participated as legal support in the first successful Polish PPP construction projects, at the stage of commercial and financial closing. She also serves as a counsellor in commercial criminal cases, and advised in one of the most successful vindication cases with an insolvent investor and general contractor, being able to collect big part of receivables.
