Maciej Czajkowski is the head of legal, in charge of implementing and executing major processes [of Eurocash Group], varying from data protection to employment and restructuring. He is a well-versed lawyer with versatile experience, aware of business risk of the groups industry. Some of his work highlights include the following:

Leading (in terms of legal) the complex process regarding implementation of the GDPR rules in dozens of companies of Eurocash Group and entities cooperating with Eurocash Group. The scope of duties covers preparing the respective documentation and its implementation in over 30 companies. Leading legal support to the process of implementation of the new Employee Capital Plans system in Eurocash Group. The process is in progress. The scope of duties encompasses preparing the process of (i) choosing the representatives employed with the companies of the Eurocash Group and (ii) agreeing the selection of the financial institution to manage the relevant Employee Capital Plans in the respective Eurocash Group’s companies. The process relates to over 30 entities in the Eurocash Group.

[He is also] co-leading legal aspects of an internal restructuring of retail business in Eurocash Group. The scope of duties covers preparing the restructuring structure and integration step-plans, as well as documentation regarding several transactions – legal mergers, transformations, sale transactions and liquidations, including cross-border transactions. The process is in progress and is expected to be finalised in 2020. The aim of the restructuring is to unify the retail business of the Eurocash Group; the integration process is the biggest restructuring the Group has followed so far.
