Jakub Laskowski has worked with Legia Warszawa (the biggest and one of the most successful football club in Poland, which boasts over 100 years of tradition) since 2013. Currently, as the director of sports legal and administration, he is responsible for all sports law matters within the club, including drafting and negotiating transfer agreements, professional contracts, intermediary agreements, coaching agreements, and more than 30 disciplinary proceedings. These are held in front of the UEFA disciplinary services, FIFA jurisdiction bodies, the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland (“CAS”) and he also oversees more than 80 proceedings in front of the Polish Football Association and Ekstraklasa (Polish professional football league) disciplinary and licencing bodies. He also has involvement in other legal matters such as internal regulations, e-sport, marketing and sponsorship agreements and corporate governance. Moreover, as a head of legal at Akademia Piłkarska Legii (an SPV responsible for the construction and management of Legia Warszawa training facility) he is also responsible for co-ordination of all legal aspects of construction process, debt financing for the facility, financial support for the investment from Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Poland and EU programmes.
