Christian Blatchford, general counsel for ENERGO-PRO, should, in my opinion be listed amongst the distinguished corporate counsel in (at least) Central and Eastern Europe.

Blatchford joined ENERGO-PRO as general counsel having acted for the group on a broad range of transactions – from M&A to leveraged and bond financing – while in private practice. His role remains primarily transactional, focussing on acquisitions, financings and development projects. He also deals with compliance issues and addresses reporting and operational legal issues, together with in-house teams in the Czech Republic and the group’s operating countries.

He is unique in his ability to focus on complex legal issues, a practical approach, and exceptional social orientation capabilities in a variety of social environments.
