Andrzej Gładysz is an extremely experienced in-house lawyer and manager, working in financial markets for 28 years, including participation in the creation of legislation being the basis for insurance activity, transferring Poland into EU legal environment. He was also one of the first insurance supervision officers working in the building stable insurance market.

In 2017 he was offered a general counsel position at PZU Group – the biggest financial institution in Central and Eastern Europe consisting of four major Polish insurers, two major Polish banks, mutual funds, pension funds and operations in Ukraine and the Baltics. He manages a team of 47 lawyers (40 legal advisors) and oversees services delivered by external legal firms. All PZU initiatives are verified and supported by his team in terms of legal and regulatory compliance. He personally advises the PZU board and that gives him an opportunity to be in the centre of activities, highly influencing the development of Polish financial markets and Poland itself.
