BP Europa SE was founded in 2010 after the merger of BP’s national organisations in Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria and Poland together with Deutsche BP in Germany. The following year, BP Switzerland was also integrated into the wider company. Kurzydło draws on the experienced and knowledge gained during his studies at the faculty of Law of the Jagiellonian University and postgraduate studies in European law and a professional career that started in 1996.
