Career biography
Since 2017, Luis Enrique Gómez has served as Regional Legal Counsel and Deputy CEO for Costa Rica at Scotiabank, a role he continues to hold. In January 2025, the operations of Scotiabank in Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia were integrated with the Davivienda Group, and since then the bank has continued operating in Costa Rica as Davibank (Costa Rica) S.A., following the name change. He is currently working with all local and regional task forces on the future merger of both banks, Davibank and Davivienda.
