Career biography

ALICIA MARÍA GIRÓN

A lawyer and notary from El Salvador, she currently serves as Legal Director at Administradora de Fondos de Pensiones CONFÍA, S.A. In this role, she is responsible for advising the Board of Directors and the Presidency, as well as supporting the various business areas alongside the legal team she leads.

Her experience within the Salvadoran pension system has enabled her to develop expertise across multiple areas of law, including contributing to the analysis and discussion of pension regulations, structuring and assessing investment opportunities in the capital markets, overseeing litigation, and coordinating the implementation of corporate governance policies and best practices.
