Alba Leonor Maza Rodas is the Legal and Government Affairs Manager for Central America and the Dominican Republic at Avon, where she leads the company’s legal, compliance, and public policy agenda across the region. She is an attorney and authorized public notary in Guatemala, with over 15 years of experience advising and leading legal functions in multinational environments.

She holds an LL.M. in Business Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a postgraduate degree in Corporate and Tax Law from Universidad del Istmo, Guatemala. Prior to joining Avon, she was Legal Counsel at Nestlé, where she developed deep expertise in complex regulatory and corporate matters within highly regulated industries.

Throughout her career, she has built a strong track record in corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, data privacy, and regulatory affairs, with a particular focus on strengthening institutional engagement with business chambers and government authorities across Central America and the Dominican Republic.

She has been recognized in The Legal 500 GC Powerlist Central America for four consecutive years (2023–2026), reflecting her continued leadership and impact in the region’s legal community.

Alba Maza is a member of the Guatemalan Bar Association and the World Compliance Association, and holds international certifications in Legal Project Practice and in compliance with a sustainable (ESG) approach.
