What has been the number one challenge that has impacted you over the past year?

One of the biggest challenges over the past year was the opportunity to work with businesses in Central America and Mexico on environmental legal matters, alongside members of our operations and EHS teams, among others. Our region has various levels of maturity when it comes to legislation enforcement and education on the issue, which creates the need to learn and share with other what you have learnt.

In which ways have you attempted to bring the legal department closer to your business colleagues?

By constantly working to learn more about the work the company does at the operational and supply chain level and finding ways to help that work with legal knowledge.
