What has been the number one challenge that has impacted you over the past year?

Last year we managed important challenges across Latin America. Some of which include sunset review for anti-dumping duties, customs and civil litigations, arbitrations and brand protection topics that are always a big challenge for brands like adidas.

In which ways have you attempted to bring the legal department closer to your business colleagues?

Our legal department is focused on being the best possible business partner, acting as enablers for the key business priorities and protecting the company interests. We have a sit and a voice at the table, and all the decisions are taken as a team.

What are some of the most significant cases and transactions you have been involved in recently?

We manage important litigations across the region. Recently we were part of the team that managed the closing of the sale of Reebok Brand in LATAM.
