Career Biography

Our legal team has broad responsibilities for legal and regulatory matters relating to OMERS Private Equity’s buyout investments. We aim to be strategic thought-partners for our investment teams; our goal is to bring a value-add mindset and to effectively manage business objectives and risks. As a leader, a key priority is to empower diverse teams to create impact and generate results. Our team is also being innovative and leveraging the use of AI and other tools to maximise efficiencies and effectiveness. In my career at OMERS, I am particularly proud to have been the founder of our Diversity and Inclusion Committee and to have implemented our document management system globally. In addition, I have completed many interesting transactions that generated risk-adjusted returns for our pensioners and enabled OMERS to meet the pension promise.
