The in-house legal team at Canadian Solar Solutions is highly experienced in the legal management of this rapidly growing and innovative company. It is adept at the application of the law with business acumen in terms of commercial and corporate law, energy, construction and procurement as well as IP, litigation, licencing, advertising and dispute resolution. The team provides coverage for the company’s engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) projects of solar installations and the manufacture and retail of photovoltaic solar modules and MV stations. It also handles the regulatory guidance and research partnership negotiations. Since 2001, Canadian Solar Solutions has been a leader in the solar industry from its Guelph, Ontario headquarters. In the last year, the company has achieved some major new investments, including the January 2019-announced deal with Edify Energy and Octopus Investments as well as working with Signal Energy to provide EPC services and supply solar modules for the 333 MWp/275 MWac Darlington Point Solar Farm in New South Wales, Australia. Additionally, in December 2018 the company announced the successful completion of a 10 year power purchase greement with TrailStone, a global investor in strategic commodity assets, at a photovoltaic plant in Sicily, to be jointly operated with Manni Energy.
