In the last year, the Boralex legal team has been active in terms of M&A transactions, bringing some major successes to the company including the September 2018-announced acquisition of Invenergy Renewables, encompassing five wind farms in Québec, totalling 201 MW of net installed capacity, for C$215m. Additionally, the company announced the acquisition of the remaining projects developed by Ecotera Développement, a process first started in 2015, increasing Boralex’s market share in France to over 1,000 MW.
