Career Biography

Jacqlin Anthony is vice president, general counsel of B2Gold Corp. and a corporate lawyer with 20 years of legal and business experience, primarily for international mining and natural resource companies operating in diverse jurisdictions.

Throughout her career, Jacqlin has worked closely with executive leadership teams and boards of public and private companies on a broad range of corporate, commercial, governance and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, capital markets transactions and strategic business initiatives.

Known for her practical, business-focused approach, Jacqlin partners with management to navigate complex legal and regulatory issues while supporting growth and long-term value creation. She began her legal career in private practice in New Zealand and is also called to the Bar in British Columbia.
