Maria da Graça Montalvão serves as Legal Vice President at Kinross Brasil Mineração, bringing over three decades of experience in the mining sector. Throughout her career, she has developed a strong track record in corporate legal strategy, governance, and regulatory matters, with particular expertise in the complexities of the mining industry in Brazil.
Prior to her current role, Maria da Graça held senior legal positions at several leading companies in the sector. She served as General Counsel at both Lundin Mining and Yamana Gold, where she played a key role in overseeing legal operations and supporting major business initiatives. Earlier in her career, she held various legal roles at Vale and Fosfértil, further consolidating her extensive experience across different facets of the mining industry.
She holds a law degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), complemented by a postgraduate degree in Corporate Law from PUC-MG.
