What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

We have been more focused on internal restructuring, with the undertake of México and improving contract management and adjusting the KPIs to be able to reduce general time of review and use of AI in our Benefit, including through the use of a global contract tool named Luminance.

What new pressures are you facing from the business as expectations for legal to act as a strategic partner continue to grow?

Legal has been demanded to act as a partner more than ever. Join in finding viable alternatives, thinking outside the box, antecipating outcomes, whilst guaranteeing the compliance. Having a better sense than ever on Strategic no and not being see as a delaying department. Assessing relevant risks, analysing business alternatives, stakeholders, having a sense on the full situation, not only legal aspects.

How is your organisation adapting to the rapid evolution of data protection, AI governance and cybersecurity requirements in Brazil?

We currently have a comittee assessing risks and relevant situations and how to move forward.

What strategies has your legal team adopted to manage disputes and mitigate risks in Brazil’s dynamic business environment?

Being intentional, addressing preventive actions is our goal. And this is better done working very closely to the business, knowing the Path forward and the goals of the business. Other than that, we are closely looking to each case, improving assessment risks and strategy and counting on our partners to do so.

How have economic fluctuations, exchange‑rate volatility or supply‑chain pressures in 2026 influenced your legal priorities?

We are even more attentive to budget costs and alternative solutions, to provide business with quick possibilities, in case there are.
