Career Biography

Graduated in Law from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Gustavo Gachineiro also holds an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – ISAE FGV. With more than 30 years of experience as a lawyer in multinational companies and large Brazilian Groups, Mr. Gachineiro has been leading legal and other areas over the last 20 years.

Previously to CPFL Energia, Mr. Gachineiro has worked for Global Village Telecom (GVT) and Telefonica Brasil S/A (Vivo), in which he served as the Vice President of the Corporate Affairs and was responsible for Regulatory Affairs, Government Affairs, Corporate Communication and Fundação Telefônica.

Currently, Mr. Gachineiro is the Legal and Corporate Vice Presidente of CPFL Energia Group and board member of Instituto CPFL. In 2018, he became a member of the Advisory Board of ABDIB and FIESP.
