Among the various tools we have available today, I believe that litigation, contingency and contract management systems are essential parts of any strategic legal team. In recent years, we have been dedicated to these implementations, which have significantly increased the governance of our company and brought greater agility in meeting demands, generating KPIs and allowing our lawyers to focus on the most strategic demands.

As we live in a fast-paced world today, what skills will a corporate legal team need to succeed in the modern in-house industry?

The main skill that a corporate legal team must have today is a vision and practice focused on the business, with strong skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and alongside business partners, structuring solutions that guarantee the necessary profitability for the company through sustainable growth.

How do you suggest in-house lawyers build strong relationships with business partners?

In-house lawyers must leave the offices and be side by side with the company’s operational teams, understanding every detail of the company’s business and the needs of their business partners, in order to identify the best way to contribute to their activities, and subsequent long-term success.
