With nearly 20 years of experience at top level Brazilian law firms, Vinícius Oliveira da Silva has served as legal director of Eletropaulo since November 2017. Prior to that he has been head of legal at AES Sul and AES Brasil. He is responsible for leading the legal team and all legal proceedings of Eletropaulo including contracts, tax, civil litigation, consumer, labour and property law, as well as the management of legal contingencies and external counsel. da Silva has experience of structuring an in-house legal department of 54 members and setting its strategy and culture. Eletropaulo is the public electricity supplier for the metropolitan region of São Paulo connecting around 18 million people with electricity and employing over 15,000 employees. da Silva is an experienced legal director in the utilities industry and has been recognised for his leadership at Eletropaulo.
