Since 2017, Paula Camila Cocuzza has been the legal manager of TOTVS, a Brazilian multinational software, services, platform and consulting company. It has 41 locations around the world and is the largest of its kind in Brazil and Latin America making it an industry leader in integrated management systems around the world. Cocuzza has strong in-house credentials having impressed nominators during this year’s research for her work at both TOTVS and Safra, one of Brazil’s largest private banks, where she was legal manager between 2016 and 2017. Her legal department at TOTVS covers all bases for the company from compliance to contracts, and is involved in all legal aspects of its newest developments including its new artificial intelligence platform, Carol, which works as a virtual personal assistant, providing organisational help and advice for entrepreneurs. Additionally, the company launched a new kitchen management platform for restaurants in partnership with Apple, called KDS, Kitchen Display System, to be operated on the IOS operating system, an industry leading development.
