Formerly at Oi (previously known as Telmar and Embratel), Guilherme Ryder has nearly 20 years of professional experience at multinational legal departments in the telecoms sector in Brazil. He brings his expertise across the corporate, contractual, financial, regulatory, competition, pay TV and new business sectors, as well as team management and external counsel partnership. Ryder has served as senior legal manager at TIM Brasil since 2014, handling all contracting processes in the company’s main business areas including supplies, property, treasury, labour and regulatory work. He has also been a lead in M&A activity, partnerships and IP. TIM Brasil is one of the top three telecoms companies in Brazil with a large market share across the mobile device and technology market and is part of the larger TIM group.
