Camilo Wittica is responsible for Electrolux´s legal, government affairs, risk management and IP functions, in Latin America. Prior to Electrolux, Wittica spent nearly eight years at TRW Automotive and pursued post-graduate qualifications at Harvard University Business School, Duke University and Catholic University of São Paulo. Electrolux, a Swedish global appliances group, manufacturers and markets refrigerators, dishwashers, vacuum cleaners and other products around the world. Brazil makes up half of its Latin American market for appliances, and also includes large markets in Argentina and Mexico. A specialist in corporate compliance and IP, Wittica’s role goes beyond a traditional legal function and includes company policy on its government relations. As it is a regional role, Wittica interacts with multiple jurisdictions and governments across Latin America and is adept in its handling legal matters in a difficult economic climate.
