Bianca Poffo began her role as Logicalis’ legal and compliance director – Latin America in March 2017 after first joining the company in 2012. She has a decade’s experience in the in-house legal industry with positions in the energy sector, at Delta Energy and Siemens, the IT sector at Motorola, and in banking at GE Capital. Logicalis is an international IT services provider with a portfolio of managed IT solutions, communications, data centres and cloud services. Poffo directs the legal activity of the company across Latin America and the company’s business areas, consults on the drafting of opinions, contracts, negotiations and works on legal policy for the firm. She supports the public bid process including its documents, contracts and appeals as well as the company’s subsidiaries. As compliance director she also covers all of the corporate governance, board matters, and the creation of new companies and subsidiaries. With her litigation experience Poffo is responsible for the management of all civil litigation including the use of external law firms. Describing her career and success, Poffo identifies that communication is vital saying that a ‘lawyer should be part of the business and should support the managers making the right decisions, pointing out the important risks.
