Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved the way your compliance team works and didn’t come at a huge cost?

A procedure was established to present various challenges to different regulations and at the request of our affiliated companies, without involving the hiring of third parties, so that the resources are made in-house (with excellent results), reducing expenses and increasing representativeness.

What are some of the key developments (legal, geopolitical, or otherwise) that have affected your business over the past year?

Although the constant rotation of public servants prevents having a constant relationship with the public sector, work has been done to have key contacts in the main instances, which allows us to have an approach to provide a better service to our associates.

How do you think the role of the in-house lawyers will evolve in the coming years?

I think it is a key role, regardless of the size of the company or entity, since it allows constant control of all legal issues, as well as maintaining a relationship with other areas.
