Anna Hägg has extensive experience serving as an in-house counsel in high-profile international commercial environments. She has sat on several boards and has previous experience of being part of management teams and advising senior management. Hägg joined Inter IKEA Group Belgium in April 2007 as senior legal counsel, reporting directly to general counsel of Inter IKEA Group and managing two legal counsels responsible for legal support to franchising and distribution divisions. In August 2016 she was promoted to head of legal affairs and corporate governance for Inter IKEA Systems in the Netherlands where she continues to give legal support and proactive counselling to the management of the Inter IKEA Systems group of companies in a wide range of legal matters. Prior to joining Inter IKEA Group, Hägg worked at Philip Morris International (PMI) in Sweden as senior legal counsel Nordics, where she was responsible for legal matters in the PMI affiliates in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland with direct reporting to the company’s legal department in Lausanne.
