Career Biography

Stefan Zleptnig is currently Head of Legal and Insurance at Burgenland Energie AG. Burgenland Energie is a leading energy service company in Austria, focusing on sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions (especially wind and photovoltaic projects). Most recently, Stefan Zleptnig headed the legal team that successfully realised the largest green energy financing for wind and photovoltaic projects in Austria, in cooperation with EIB and other major banks. Prior to Burgenland Energie, Stefan Zleptnig worked, amongst others, for ASFINAG and was Secretary General of the EETS Facilitation Platform. He has also a strong focus on international trade and regulation, having studied and worked in London.
