What are the most significant cases, projects, or transactions that you and your legal team have recently been involved in? /strong>
2025 marked a year with multiple and multi-jurisdictional M&A transactions. In addition, we continued to strengthen our corporate governance structures and entity management. We also invested in enriching our working culture, particularly by strengthening team spirit and fostering collaboration beyond our team.
How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crisis to ensure the organisation’s resilience? /strong>
I focus on our team’s key competencies and transform our different strengths to meet the challenges of a VUCA world. Being flexible and agile, while relying on experience and knowing your strengths, is a key element of success in coping with instabilities around the globe.
What do you think are the most important attributes for a modern in-house counsel to possess? /strong>
Stay on top of things, meaning maintain regular exchanges within your organisation, with external peers and associations, and read as much as you can—not only on legal matters, but also with an eye on the headlines and certain in-depth developments relating to political, social and economic changes, statistics and discussions.
What is a cause, business or otherwise, that you are passionate about? Why is this? /strong>
Governance and structure – it takes considerable time and resources to establish new processes or modify existing ones, but once they are in place, they accelerate your workflow and continuously improve both your own and your team’s quality of work. Create only simple processes, meaning a clear and easily described path of checkpoints.
