InterCement’s Argentina subsidiary Loma Negra is a market leader in the manufacturing of cement, concrete, and lime. Legal affairs manager Lucrecia Loureiro heads the leads team of around five individuals, and – having been at the company since 2011 – has deep understanding of the business. Other members of the department include legal director Luiz Klecz, senior legal counsel Gastón Sayús and legal counsel Mariana Villares. In addition to Loma Negra’s operations in Argentina, the team provide legal advice on the organisation’s subsidiary companies and activities in Paraguay. In a historical move for the company, the legal team assisted on Loma Negra’s IPO on the NYSE and BYMA in 2017 where the company raised over US$950m.
