Marina Codesal joined PepsiCo in January 2019 as head of legal, covering Argentina, Paraguay, and Peru. With more than 10 years of in-house experience, Codesal is praised for ‘having a very practical approach with high consideration of business issues and objectives, and is very knowledgeable and open when discussing issues and solutions with her team and external legal counsel’, one nominator states. Prior to joining PepsiCo, she spent over nine years at Unilever as senior legal manager, where she ‘excelled as [a] leader in the legal matters in Argentina, with great focus on labour matters’, according to the nominator. Before her long tenure at Unilever, Codesal gained in-house experience by working for BBVA for more than two years, and Correo Argentino for one and half years. She graduated in law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina, where she also pursued further study in labour law after working in the legal sector for a few years.
