For the last 16 years the legal team has been led by Amany Elzayaty, head of legal for the Near East, covering P&G’s operations in Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. The team’s input means that business is conducted in line with local laws and regulations in a region that has a notable diversity in culture. It is to this end that the team has been particularly meticulous when deploying antitrust laws in Egypt and Levant countries.
