Eskom, the South African electricity public utility, generates 95% of the electricity used in South Africa and 45% of the electricity used across Africa. Zingisa Motloba, senior legal manager at Eskom, manages a team of lawyers providing comprehensive legal support to distribution, transmission and customer services. The team’s role includes guidance with key customers and integrated demand management as well as Eskom’s cross border strategic investments. The legal department also has a group advisory role, supporting Eskom Telecommunications, Eskom Aviation, Grid Access Unit and Eskom Properties. Motloba has a passion for motivating all the individuals in the legal team to unleash their best potential.
