Founded in 1994 and part of Integra Group, AfricInvest is an investment and financial services company that operates in Tunisia. As one of the most experienced investment businesses on the African continent, the firm is uniquely positioned to provide high quality services in both North and Sub-Saharan Africa. The small, but highly experienced legal function at AfricInvest is responsible for drafting and analysing contracts under French, Tunisian, and Anglo-Saxon law, as well as closing international contracts in French and English. The team is rated highly in Africa for its ability to influence AfricInvest’s business by validating the feasibility of projects in a timely fashion and anticipating and reacting to regulatory challenges.

Over the past few years, the team has been involved in many notable transactions, such as the 2014 acquisition of Mansard Insurance by AXA Group for €198m. More recently the team has been involved in the exit of its $55m stake in Générale Emballage. In addition, the team is credited for the implementation of “Internal Control Check Lists” that have contributed greatly towards efficiency.
