After nearly ten years of practising as a lawyer in an international law firm (Master 2 in Contract Law – Business Law and Bar Exam), Noémie Wallaert joined Decathlon in 2010. There, she held the position of M&A Legal Manager for five years, before dedicating herself to the structuring of the Compliance function, which she created and directed for four years. She then took the lead of the Group’s Legal Department, thereby bringing the two entities together under a single leadership.

Today, Noémie pilots the global Legal and Compliance strategy on an international scale. She supports and unites a large network of team members, focusing on positioning this function at the very heart of the corporate project. Deeply committed to the evolution of the practices within her profession, she is also driving the transformation of the entire department.

Furthermore, Noémie serves as a board member of the French Association of Corporate Counsel (Association Française des Juristes d’Entreprise – AFJE).
