Sophia Louka
Legal Director | Ecovium
Sophia Louka is a legal leader with close to twenty years’ experience guiding dynamic, multinational organisations through complex commercial and regulatory environments. She serves as Director of the Legal Department of the ecovium Group – a European provider of warehouse-management software and warehouse-automation solutions, spanning 13 entities across 12 countries – and as a member of the Board of Directors of Mantis Informatics S.A. Her practice reaches across corporate law, commercial transactions, intellectual property, data protection and employment law, combining legal precision and commercial awareness with a results-driven, people-centred approach to leadership.
Her track record includes the negotiation and execution of complex international commercial contracts, several exceeding EUR 1 million, each concluded with a balance of legal rigour, sound business judgement and strong internal alignment, and each contributing directly to the group’s strategic growth and operational continuity. In 2021 she acted as internal legal counsel to the Mantis Group during its acquisition by ecovium Holding GmbH, now part of the FSN Capital fund – a milestone that reshaped the group’s corporate identity and positioned it for further international expansion.
Before taking on her current group responsibilities, Sophia built her experience across a broad range of industries and legal settings. She has advised technology companies, an international apparel and sportswear group and a leading home-appliances and consumer-electronics retailer, in each case handling commercial agreements, employment matters and the regulatory and operational demands of fast-moving businesses. Her foundations were laid in respected law firms with a strong international dimension, where she developed a solid grounding in banking, commercial and corporate law, data protection, and IT and intellectual property law.
Sophia’s professional approach is consistent and delivery-focused. She leads the legal function as a genuine business partner, aligning legal strategy with commercial objectives and holding herself and her team to clear, dependable standards. At the same time, she leads with empathy: she invests in her people, builds an environment in which colleagues feel supported, heard and empowered, and treats the department as a community of shared responsibility. Executives, stakeholders, colleagues and external counsel alike rely on her judgement, discretion and consistency, including in high-stakes situations.
Her appointment to the Board of Mantis Informatics reflects that trust and the value the organisation places on principled, dependable performance. Combining broad expertise across many legal disciplines with a steady, solutions-oriented mindset, Sophia is a partner to the business, a mentor to her team and a calm, reliable presence in moments of uncertainty – consistently committed to protecting the organisation and delivering results, always with integrity at the core.
