Elizabeth has over 15 years of extensive experience as an advocate and head of legal, specializing in corporate affairs, mergers & acquisitions, regulatory compliance, strategic leadership, legal recoveries, receivership, corporate governance, and board advisory. Her career is marked by a proven track record of delivering results in complex legal environments and spearheading initiatives that mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

She currently holds the position of Legal and Business Integrity Director at Serengeti Breweries Limited, a subsidiary of East African Breweries Limited (EABL). Her role spans from board management, corporate security, regulatory compliance, legal advisory, risk management and controls. Apart from her day-to-day work, Elizabeth is a sponsor for the company’s Spirited Women Network, an all female led network responsible for promoting career advancement and creating opportunities for personal development.

Within the legal space, Elizabeth has held significant roles at Bank of Africa Tanzania Limited (BOA) and United Bank for Africa Tanzania Limited (UBA), where she oversaw critical legal functions and achieved notable successes in managing complex legal portfolios.

She holds a certificate to practice as a Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths in Tanzania from The High Court of Tanzania. She is also a graduate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA UK), and a member of the Tanganyika Law Society, the East African Law Society, and the Institute of Directors Tanzania (IoDT).
