Career Biography

Crystal Mc Intosh is currently Senior Counsel at the World Bank Group (International Finance Corporation), based in Nairobi, where she serves as a project lawyer supporting IFC’s debt and equity investments across Africa. She advises across the transaction lifecycle, working closely with clients to understand their needs and challenges, and balancing those with IFC’s requirements and interests. 

Crystal previously worked at Linklaters and Webber Wentzel, bringing both international and regional private practice experience to her role at the World Bank Group. She is a practising solicitor of England & Wales and admitted in Ireland and South Africa. She holds a Master’s degree in Development & Governance and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Law, combining commercial legal expertise with a strong understanding of development priorities.
