I stay close to market developments, regulatory evolution, and business priorities to anticipate risks early and turn them into practical solutions. By working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, I help the organisation remain resilient, agile, and prepared to transform without losing operational stability.

General counsel often speak of the need to be strategic to reach the pinnacle of the profession. What does being strategic mean to you?

Being strategic means looking beyond immediate legal issues and understanding how legal decisions support the wider business direction. It requires anticipating market, regulatory, and organisational changes, identifying risks early, and turning them into practical opportunities. For me, strategy is about enabling sustainable growth while protecting the organisation and supporting transformation. It also is important to see the legal department as part of every other department not one standing at the sidelines and shouting out warnings.
