What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?
Our legal team has recently been involved in a number of high-impact, confidential projects that have played a strategic role in supporting the business. Among these is the implementation of a fully automated warehouse solution for a client, where all movement and storage of goods are carried out entirely by robots and autonomous vehicles. This complex, multi-jurisdictional project required significant investment, as well as sophisticated funding arrangements, advanced technological integration, and robust contractual frameworks involving multiple international suppliers. The legal team acted as a key business partner throughout, contributing to the structuring of the funding solution, supporting technical discussions around the technology elements, and leading negotiations across five different companies, while helping to embed innovative features such as automation and artificial intelligence into the contractual model.
In parallel, the legal function led the transformation of contract management within the company through the implementation of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, addressing what had long been an operational weakness. This initiative streamlined the contract request process, automated workflows, and introduced KPI tracking, significantly improving efficiency, governance, and visibility over contractual relationships. It also enabled the legal team to provide more strategic insights to business and functional units, enhancing the management of both clients and suppliers through better access to structured, data-driven information.
Additionally, the team played a central role in strengthening the company’s approach to government and institutional relations during a period of heightened market uncertainty and limited regulatory clarity. By establishing closer engagement with regulatory authorities and key industry stakeholders, the legal team helped secure clearer formal positioning from the regulator, contributing to greater legal certainty for both the company and the wider sector. This initiative marked an important internal shift towards a more structured and proactive model of regulatory engagement, reinforcing the legal function’s role as a strategic advisor in navigating complex external environments.
