Career Biography  

Adekunle Adaramola is an accomplished legal practitioner and governance professional with over two decades of experience spanning legal risk management, commercial dispute resolution, business conduct and ethics, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

He began his legal career at Debo Akande, SAN & Co., where he worked on high-profile criminal cases, before moving to Strachan Partners (Candide-Johnson Law Practice), where he specialised in commercial litigation, representing several multinational companies. He was subsequently appointed Legal Affairs Manager and later Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager/Business Conduct Counsel at Nigerian Breweries Plc (Heineken Op. Co.).

After a decade with Nigerian Breweries Plc, he joined Promasidor Nigeria Limited as its first in-house Company Secretary and Legal Adviser, playing a key role in strengthening the company’s governance structures and legal oversight.

He is currently Group Legal Counsel at Promasidor Holdings Limited, where he provides strategic leadership across the legal functions of the Group’s operating companies and supports the business in achieving its commercial and governance objectives.

Adekunle is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), and a member of the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria (SCGN). He was recognised in the Legal 500 GC Powerlist Nigeria in 2024 and 2025.
