Career biography
Jaime Orvañanos Lascurain is the Senior Vice President of Legal and Compliance at Eagle Property Capital, a real estate private equity firm focused on acquiring and operating multifamily assets across the United States. He has held various in-house roles, including General Counsel, and has experience leading legal teams in Mexico, Latin America, Europe, and Asia for companies such as Conekta, WeWork, OfficeMax, Walmart Mexico y Centroamerica, and Banco Walmart. He previously served as an associate at Baker McKenzie, special advisor to KermaPartners, and as a Law Professor at Universidad Iberoamericana. Jaime is a member of the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC) and has been recognized by The Legal 500 in the Mexico GC Powerlist in 2018, 2019, and 2022. He holds a law degree from Universidad Anáhuac, an LL.M. from Georgetown University, and postgraduate studies in Business Law from ITAM, Tax Law from the Colegio de Contadores Públicos, and Legal Operations from ESADE.
