Career Biography

Jerome has over 19 years’ legal experience including 17 years working on all aspect aspects of energy, from upstream oil and gas to LNG development and marketing, petrochemicals, mining and power including in particular offshore wind and green hydrogen. Jerome started his career in London and then in Paris and Tokyo, working for Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer and mainly advising sponsors on their energy projects / financing and on M&A. Following a period at Linklaters and two long-term client secondments with large Japanese companies in Tokyo, Jerome pursued his career in-house at ENGIE in Bangkok, Singapore and Tokyo.

Since June 2025 Jerome has been the Head of Legal of ChemOne Holdings, where he is in charge of a team tasked with delivering sophisticated legal solutions on large petrochemical projects in APAC, with a particular focus on Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.
