Craig Rollins

General Counsel and Corporate Secretary | Versamet Royalties

Legal team size: Two

Craig Rollins is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Versamet Royalties Corporation (TSXV: VMET), a rapidly growing precious metals royalty and streaming company that he helped launch in 2022. A corporate and securities lawyer with extensive experience in the mining and natural resources sector, Mr. Rollins advises on complex cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, public listings, and continuous disclosure and governance matters.

He played a central role in transforming Versamet into a publicly listed company with a diversified, cash-flowing portfolio of royalties and streams on long-life mines operated by leading global producers.

Mr. Rollins has in-house experience with several Pathway Capital-backed resource companies, where he currently serves as Vice President and Corporate Secretary. He holds undergraduate and law degrees from the University of British Columbia and the University of Windsor, respectively, and is a practising member of the Law Society of British Columbia.

What projects are you most proud to have worked on over the past 12 months?

The past year has been a period of transformative growth for Versamet Royalties—and one of the most rewarding phases of my career.

In May 2025, Versamet completed its direct listing on the TSX Venture Exchange, marking its evolution from a private growth company into a publicly traded royalty company. Yet the true highlight has been executing multiple complex, high-value acquisitions and financings that have reshaped our portfolio and positioned Versamet as one of the fastest-growing emerging royalty companies globally.

In April 2025, Versamet acquired the Kolpa copper stream from Endeavour Silver—an immediately cash-flowing asset that diversified our portfolio and strengthened our near-term revenue base. Just months later, we closed the Appian portfolio acquisition, comprising a 90% silver stream on the Rosh Pinah Zinc mine in Namibia and a 2.75% NSR royalty on the Santa Rita nickel mine in Brazil. Together, these transactions—valued at over USD $160 million and financed through expanded facilities with BMO and National Bank—boosted Versamet’s forecast production by more than 300%, to approximately 20,000 gold-equivalent ounces (GEOs) in 2026, and expanded its portfolio to eight cash-flowing assets.

Beyond the transactions themselves, I’m proud of the strategic and legal foundations that made this growth possible—structuring multi-jurisdictional streaming and royalty agreements, managing stock-exchange and regulatory compliance, and supporting Versamet’s dual-track advancement toward a TSX and U.S. listing.

Seeing Versamet evolve into a USD $770 million market-capitalization company within three years of launch—built on disciplined execution, innovative structuring, and close collaboration within a compact two-person legal team—has been the most fulfilling achievement of my career.
