Since 2015 Anna Oneto is the Head of Real Estate Legal Matters for the Generali Group. With her team of five talented lawyers she provides legal advice and support across a wide range of transactional and regulatory matters concerning the Generali Group real estate portfolio with properties located throughout the Europea region, which are owned directly by the insurance companies or indirectly through Italian and Luxembourg funds managed by Generali Real Estate. In such a position she provides legal advice across various jurisdictions in which Generali Real Estate, partnering with local external lawyers who provides necessary inputs on provisions of applicable local laws and practices. In her role, she is responsible for advising on legal matters pertaining to the investment and divestment of real estate assets, the activities of asset and project management, the setting up of dedicated real estate investment funds and the legal matters concerning their day to day management.

Extraordinary Corporate and M&A transactions involving the companies included in Generali Real Estate’s perimeter at local or international level are also within the scope of Anna’s team activities.

Anna has been working for over 25 years as a transactional lawyer and manager, dedicated to M&A and real estate legal matters. A graduate with honours at the University of Genoa, after qualifying as a lawyer, she pursued post graduate studies in Turin, at the International Training Center of the ILO and in London, where in the year 2000 she took her LLM in International Business law at the University of London.

Prior to joining the Generali Group, Anna worked for 16 years in private practice at the Milan office of Norton Rose Fullbright within the M&A and corporate finance department, advising Italian and foreign clients on both domestic and cross-border deals.
