What are the key projects that you have been involved in over the past 12 months

I started at SZC in February 2025. Prior to this, I was Deputy General Counsel at Scotia Gas Networks (SGN). When at SGN, I was the lead lawyer supporting on the RIIO GD3 price control submission. This is the five-year regulatory price control

At SZC, I am currently involved in the equity and debt raise programme as Exec member and General Counsel and in finalising the Civil Works Alliance that will deliver the main construction activities for construction of the nuclear site.

A significant proportion of my time has been spent reviewing the existing legal team and governance requirements at SZC and ensuring that we are set up for success to deliver the project subject post FID. SZC will be the first EPR nuclear power plant to be constructed under the RAB model with HGM currently being a majority shareholder in the UK. Therefore, the vast majority of time is linked to all activities associated with this.
