Joaquin Erlbaun Martínez is a Chilean attorney with a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master’s in Tax Law from Universidad de Chile. Erlbaun’s career has focused on tax advisory, compliance, and litigation, with experience in both the public and private sectors.

Erlbaun began his professional path at Deloitte, working in international taxation and advising multinational clients on cross-border matters. He then joined the Chilean Internal Revenue Service, where he gained valuable insight into tax enforcement and regulatory procedures from the public sector perspective.

Later, at EY, Erlbaun worked in tax consulting and litigation, supporting clients in audits, administrative proceedings, and legal disputes.

Erlbaun has also collaborated with law firms on corporate and tax-related matters, including business reorganisations and strategic planning. International coursework has broadened his perspective and kept him aligned with global standards.
